Our cemeteries are a sacred and religious place. All visitors are expected to show respect for the grounds and those laid to rest here.

NOTICE Maintenance of the cemetery is challenging due to uneven terrain and numerous markers. Your cooperation is appreciated. These rules apply to all of St. Michaels Cemeteries, St. Michael (located on VV), St. Joseph (located in South Branch) & Our Lady of the Woods (located in West Branch.).
These rules are established in accordance with the Menominee Tribal Legislature and the Diocese ofGreen Bay.

If you're interested in becoming a member of St. Michael's Parish, we would love to have you. Just come in to the parish office to fill out a registration form and pick up your envelopes. Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 10:00 am-2:00 pm. If you are unable to come in, you can download the registration form below, fill it out and drop it off in the drop box just outside of the office door. Thank you.
"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the priest of the Church, and let him pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (Jas 5:14-15). The sacrament of Anointing of the Sick has as its purpose the conferral of a special grace on the Christian experiencing the difficulties inherent in the condition of a grave illness or old age. (CC 1527).
Sacrament of Baptism: please contact parish office to register and make arrangements. Parish office hours are Mon-Thurs 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. If you are unable to come in during our normal office hours, please download the registration form below and drop it off with your $10.00 registration fee in the drop box just outside of the office door. We welcome our parishioners to have their newborn children baptized as soon as possible. Baptism is the first of the sacraments and the gateway to the other sacraments and to the spiritual life. The Catholic Church holds true Our Lord’s words that the Sacrament of Baptism is necessary for salvation. Baptism puts a special seal on a person’s soul, making them an adopted child of God. The other effects of Baptism are:
When parents bring their child to the Church to be baptized, they are making a solemn promise to God that they will raise their child in the Catholic faith. It is important for parents to realize that the living out of this promise involves their own practice of the faith through their dedication to prayer, weekly Mass attendance and living the sacramental life of the Church.
Parents will need to choose Godparents for the new baby. A Godparent must be able to assist the parents in the education of the child in the Catholic faith through support, encouragement and prayer. At least one Godparent must be Catholic and meet all of the following criteria:
Classes will be starting September 13th 6:00-7:30 pm, we will offer classes starting with 1st and going up. This year, we will also offer Confirmation preparation classes for our young teens. In order to plan accordingly, we ask you register your child/children as soon as possible, we ask for a $10 donation. Registration forms can be found at the entrance of church, families from last year will receive in the mail also. Please turn them into the office.
